UNIVERSEUM Voices During COVID19 #2: „How to re-open the doors?"

UNIVERSEUM Network

3. June 2020 11.30 Uhr

Most European countries are more or less easing the lockdown the coming weeks. We can slowly return to our routines, we can start thinking about working with our collections again. One of the first measures that will impact the community, is re-opening the museums and galleries. We have to work out how to offer an optimal service, despite of the safety measures we have to figure out how to offer Covid19-compatible activities. But there is still great uncertainty on many levels.

Taking all of this into account: do we really have to re-open as soon as possible? How do we manage to re-open? What are the main difficulties we have to overcome? How can we still organize true interaction with our visitors?

These are the kind of questions that will be discussed with our panel and with you, on 3 June 2020, 10:30-12:00 Greenwich Mean Time (UTC) / 11:30-13:00 Central European Time / 12:30-14:00 Eastern European Time.
