The 2021 postponed conference of CIDOC, the International Committee for Documentation of ICOM, will take place from 22nd – 27th of May 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. Anyone interested from museums and cultural organizations is cordially invited to participate.

The program is determined by the overall topic „Symbiosis of Tradition and Digital Technology“. Registrations are welcome via the CIDOC 2021 registration form.

Next to various workshops and presentations held in presence, there will also be the following three free online workshops specifically about LIDO to participate in:

  In this session updates on the LIDO development will be given and discussed: Since the last CIDOC conference further work has been carried out in particular with the related LIDO Terminology and in terms of quality assurance of LIDO datasets. Additional material will be presented together with the final release of LIDO v1.1.

• 2. LIDO Working Group: LIDO Profiles (online)

  Recently, several LIDO profiles have been developed, such as the genre-specific LIDO profile "Painting and Sculpture" or the LIDO application profile "EODEM". In this session, the current status of the development of LIDO profiles will be presented and possibilities for collaboration in the development of further LIDO profiles will be discussed.

• 3: Joint Meeting of LIDO Working Group and Linked Art Working Group (online)
